On Tuesday Jen, of Gothamist, organized a private scotch cocktail party for Rachel Maddow (host of Rachel Maddow show on MSNBC). Gothamist selected the top NYC mixologists to prepare classic cocktails for Ms. Maddow using scotch sponsored by Dalmore. The mixologists were: Jennifer Nelson of Buttermilk Channel, Richard Boccato of Dutch Kills, Payman Bahmani of Life's A Cocktail, Yael Vengroff of Woodson & Ford and Jason Litrell of the Randolph.
The event was a lot of fun, as Ms. Maddow graciously joined the mixologists behind the bar and gladly prepared a few cocktails for everyone. Personally, I really enjoyed the Bamboo cocktail that Rachel made for me, and Payman's Modern Cocktail No.2.
